2013 Volkswagen Golf Mk VII

The Volkswagen Golf is an iconic shape from Germany that began with the original Rabbit. This vehicle started the hot hatch craze and provided the tuner car market with a boost. Just like its high performance cousin - distant cousin - the 911, the practical Volkswagen continues to become larger, heavier, and more sophisticated. The previous generation MkVI Golf arrived in the U.S. as a 2010 model, but the sleeker five door hatchback ended up being short lived. The new Golf VII will be longer and wider than the previous model, while its exterior design will be more aggressive and sporty. It was set up to offer more interior room for passengers, new production techniques that make it 220 lbs lighter, and technology that makes it 23% more fuel efficient. The new Golf is also safer than ever thanks to its stronger body structure and impressive list of passive and active safety systems.
The new Golf is built on the MQB platform, or Modular Transverse Matrix, which makes it about 56 mm longer than its predecessor. At launch, the model will be offered with a choice of four engines: two petrol - a 85 HP 1.2-litre TSI and a 140 HP 1.4-litre TSI - and two diesel - a 105 HP 1.6-litre unit and a 150 HP 2.0-litre unit.
In Germany, the seventh generation Golf has been priced at 16,975 Euros (about $21,400 at the current exchange rates). It will be offered in Trendline, Comfortline and Highline trim levels, which can all be viewed and modified on the Volkswagen Golf’s online configurator. Golf lovers on our side of the pond will have to wait because, if the German automotive conglomerate continues to do business as usual, we won’t see the new Golf until the European market has had their fun. This means that the new Golf may not arrive in the U.S. until as late as 2014, giving the new 2010 Golf VI a few years to shine in the spotlight of Volkswagen of America’s sales sheets.

Aston Martin One-77 Q-Series by Aston Martin

This is the first video showing an Aston Martin One-77 Q-Series by Aston Martin. Only seven were build within the already limited series of 77 Aston Martin hypercars. This particular one is currently for sale for AED 11 Million in Dubai at Alan Class Motors, which is 2.4 million euros or 3.0 million dollars!
The Q by Aston Martin bespoke treatment was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2012 in March. The service offers an extension to interior and exterior styling. Q by Aston Martin can help to design and procure luxury items beyond the customers’ car. This could extend to colour matching a Brompton bicycle to their Aston Martin, supporting the customer’s architect to design their house, or creating colour themes and materials for the interior specification of a yacht. The Aston Martin One-77 features hand crafted aluminium paneling and a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. The engine, a naturally aspirated 7.3 liter V12 engine with 750hp, was the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever to be fitted to a production vehicle. 0-100km/h takes just 3.5 seconds and top speed tests showed that the car is capable of reaching 357km/h.

2012 Lada Xray Concept

Large companies, like GM, seem to have issues keeping new model leakage under control. We are not completely naive, so we do understand that some of these leaks from large automakers are actually orchestrated by the automaker itself to help drum up interest. Still, there is the occasional major leak that some disgruntled design team member decides to plaster all over the Interwebz.
Well, Lada, a Russia-based company much smaller than GM, but a relative success in the Russian market, kept its recently unveiled SUV under such tight lock and key that it took all of us aback when it was debuted at the Moscow Motor Show. The Xray, as Lada has dubbed this concept SUV, is nothing like any other SUV it has ever produced and it looks like something that belongs in a worldwide production model’s lineup. That said, don’t look for this SUV, or any Lada for that matter, to make its way to the U.S.
The styling of this crossover SUV is not something you would expect to see from a budget automaker, like Lada. It does, however, show how Lada’s eyes are on the future, making its cars more stylish and offering up a wider range.

Exterior

The Xray boats a very stylish exterior, featuring a pair of long and thin, horizontally mounted headlights that seem to integrate with the front grille. Staying true to its name, the front grille looks almost like an “X” when you look at it straight on. The front fascia wraps around the horizontally louvered grille, giving the Xray a very high-end appearance.
The side profile of the Xray looks almost like a Ford Focus on steroids, as its shallow-raked windshield swoops up to a sleek roof line. The roof then travels rearward to a shallow-raked rear glass. The front fenders and rear quarters don body lines that flow toward the center of the SUV, then down and to the rear at a sharp angle, giving its side profile some added character. You’ll notice from the side view that this model only features a pair of doors, no hidden rear door, like the Nissan Juke. This could ultimately hurt its stock as an SUV. On the base of the doors, there is a hockey-stick-like accent piece that is a little out of place.
The rear end of the Lada is one of the sharpest ones we’ve seen from a compact SUV. It boasts a pair of hockey-stick taillights and a rear bumper insert that has cutouts for the dual trapezoid-shaped exhaust tip flow out of. This insert boasts a long, chrome insert on the top and two L-shaped chrome pieces surrounding the exhaust tips. Another thing you’ll find on the rear is that the rear wheel arches stick outward, giving the SUV an unexpectedly stout stance.

Interior

The interior of the Lada is surprisingly sleek, yet simple. The seats are triple-tone with a deep brown as their base covering, black inserts and white piping, They appear to features leather covering, but there is no official word about that.
The steering wheel boasts a dark-brown rim, three silver posts and a brown center that matches the seat color. There is a smattering of control buttons on the steering wheel, but nothing too overwhelming. The dashboard is an off-white the a seat-colored insert and black trim.
The center console is decked out in the same seat color and black, but it tosses in some silver accents on the gear shifter, and a metal strip on the passenger side of the console.
The audio controls look very simple and far from overwhelming. What looks to be an 8-inch LCD screen pops out of the dash and we can only assume that this is the radio’s interface.
In all, the interior of this concept is pretty sharp. Having said that, we would like to see a little more effort put into the dashboard, as it looks pretty bare, compared to other vehicles in its class.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL Maritime by Graf Weckerle

When you say Graf Weckerle you automatically images some very cool, yet individual and exclusive tuning packages. And of course that this latest one, offered for the Mercedes SL500 is no exception. The package features a maritime inspiration through both the exterior and interior of the car, while the interior features pure 750 white gold elements.
For the exterior the most important changes are of course the wheels This time the tuner opted for a new set of 20" Collection Sport forged performance wheels made out of a special rotation-forged titanium-aluminum alloy. The wheels are featuring a very cool aluminum effect combined with a special white coating on the disc and a Graf Weckerle brand logo on the center cap. This new set of wheels has been combined with a very cool Graf Weckerle navy blue exterior paint.
The interior continues with the same maritime theme thanks to its Graf Weckerle navy blue leather contrasting with white stitching and piping. But the most amazing features are the Graf Weckerle brand emblems integrated into the original seat design and made of pure 750 white gold.
No changes have been made under the hood at this point, but the tuner announced that an optimized and remapped ECU in combination with a stainless steel sports exhaust system is currently being developed.

2012 Ferrari 458 Italia by TC Concepts

The Ferrari 458 Italia is one of those supercars that doesn’t really need aesthetic improvements because, on its own, it already looks pretty awesome. But for the most part, vanity gets the better of us, hence the urge to turn to the aftermarket industry for some facial upgrades.
The latest aftermarket company to offer these modifications is TC Concepts, which, with some assistance from Novitec Rosso’s body kit, managed give the Italian monster a pretty steady aftermarket upheaval. The most noticeable of these changes is the two-tone, yellow and black paint finish that’s followed by a slew of aerodynamic components, including a front spoiler lip, new side skirts, a fixed rear wing, and new black tailpipes. The yellow-and-black theme also plays into the car’s blacked-out roof, the blacked-out vents, the blacked-out Ferrari logo, the smoked lights, and the heavily tinted windows that, quite frankly, we’re not too fond of.
Inside, the same two-color treatment manifests itself with the prevalent use of yellow leather on the middle parts of the seats and the door panels. Likewise, yellow stitching is also all over the cabin, showing itself up on the seats, the dashboard, and the steering wheel.
No performance mods were given by TC Concepts, which means that you can’t expect anything more than what Ferrari has prepared under the hood of the supercar.
